Markus Lampert studied pharmacy at the University of Basel graduating in 1992 (federal dipl.) and 1997 (PhD). He specialized in hospital and clinical pharmacy and is a recognized teacher in clinical pharmacy by the Swiss Federation of Pharmacy. He is head of clinical pharmacy in the Solothurner Spitaeler. He is a honorary senior research associate of the Pharmaceutical Care Research Group at University of Basel, and a lecturer for clinical pharmacy. He was president of the ESCP from 2014-2016.

Simon Stücheli joined the research group of Molecular & Systems Toxicology in August 2016 to conduct his master's thesis, in which he investigated the role of the orphan enzyme DHRS7 in prostate cancer and its potential to metabolize dihydrotestosterone. He graduated with a Master of Science in Toxicology in summer 2017 and since then works as a PhD student in the same research group. In his research, he continues to elucidate the role of DHRS7 and several 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases in prostate cancer.

André Fischer received his Master Degree in Drug Sciences from the University of Basel in July 2018. He conducted his master thesis titled “Ligand Tunneling to the Buried Active Site of Cytochrome P450 2D6 Allelic Variants” in the Molecular Modeling group of the University of Basel under the supervision of Dr. PD Martin Smieško. In September 2018, he joined the group of Molecular Modeling as a PhD student. During his PhD thesis he will investigate the binding of small-molecules to known drug antitargets.
